Partners & Certifications
At Dataworks, our passion for technology and our desire to help our clients achieve their objectives and face challenges drives us to seek out knowledge. To offer clients a competitive edge in the rapidly changing IT landscape, we’ve made continuing education and certifications an essential directive for our team.
We consistently pursue further certifications so our staff is more knowledgeable and able to handle our clients’ diverse needs.
Our certifications are more than merely a list of logos — they represent valuable partnerships we have carefully selected to offer clients a broader range of resources and solutions so we can serve as strategic business partners to our clients. Our team coordinates a continuing education plan to strategically diversify our areas of specialization. By pairing extensive industry certifications with years of experience, our IT team offers
Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
The WBENC certification demonstrates that Dataworks is owned, operated and governed by a woman or women. After founding Dataworks in 2002, in a predominantly male-dominated industry, founder, owner and CEO Caroline Smith sought this certification to highlight Dataworks’ ongoing commitment to diversity, equality and supporting the broader entrepreneurial community – male and female. Our WBENC certification is more than a badge of honor; it’s an advantage for our clients and a symbol of the fortitude and determination at the core of our company.
Service Operations Controls (SOC) 2The System Operations Controls for service organizations (SOC) 2 reports show how successfully Dataworks’ processes and systems ensure the security, availability and integrity of our clients’ systems and information, as well as the privacy of their data. These reports are achieved after rigorous audits using guidelines established by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). More than that, our SOC 2 demonstrates that we are equipped to serve clients, such as financial services organizations or government contractors, who have stringent compliance requirements and must work with providers that adhere to strict regulatory best practices. We are proud to be one of the few Seattle-based managed IT services providers who have achieved this level of compliance.
Microsoft Silver Partnership
Dataworks is proud to be a Microsoft Silver Partner which allows us 24/7 access to the most senior technical support engineers at Microsoft. In addition, many of our technicians are certified Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP). With extensive education and a premier partnership with Microsoft’s own technical support staff, we can address virtually any issue, any time.
